Magento 2 is a basic ecommerce platform which is reflected in its feature set and capabilities. Despite the constant rebranding or changing of names (Magento, Magento 2, Magento Community, Magento Enterprise, Adobe Commerce etc...) it still falls well short of offering the comprehensive ecommerce capabilities for companies serious about growth.

Like other open source ecommerce platforms, Magento is extremely vulnerable to security risks, particularly when it is not patched.
