Red Technology wins Retail Systems Award 2021

We’re delighted to have been named the E-commerce Solution of the Year at the 2021 Retail Systems Awards for our work with Amtech/DK Tools. The category was the most keenly contested of the evening and saw us manage to hold off nine other shortlisted solution providers to prevail.

The project focused on our innovative work with Amtech/DK Tools in developing a solution that automatically provided a smarter way to avoiding losing sales because items were not in stock. This revolved around offering up alternative products to the customer that were in stock when they came into contact with an out of stock item throughout the user journey, meaning this functionality was deployed on the product details page, product listings and quick order pages. It's already proven to be increasing conversions and AOV since implementation, and other customers are now looking to roll out the same functionality on their sites.
